Clippers vs Kings 10/18 final preseason game

The Clipps are just packing the paint and Cuz is having to be the spread big. Why not bring in Tolliver??? Coach???

Ben has got to hit open 3s

Especially since that is only part of his offensive game. When was the last time he attacked the basket - and more rarely actually finished. Please somebody, anybody make decent offer so Kings can unload Mr Regressing Inconsistent.

I'm hoping Joerger rips into Cousins when watching film. You just can't act like that when you call yourself the leader. If you talk the talk, you better walk the walk too.

Same old story for the Kings - Boogie doing things he should be called out for while also being the only guy keeping them from being blown out by 30+

What's clear is that Rudy is not a 2nd option. He just isn't good enough. He can't create well and if he handles the ball it ends badly most of the time. We need a real Robin to our Batman. We have the same problem as last year. Cousins sits and who is going to score? Who do we go to? We don't have that option.

He didn't hit the last two, but it's nice to actually have an open stretch-4 camping on the 3-pt line for open shots.

Can't go 7-7 every night but Tolliver is solid enough from outside that he'll space the floor well.

He doesn't have Ryan Anderson's inside game, isn't quite the rebounder and isn't a guy who will regularly put up 20+ but he shoots about the same percentage from outside, is a better defender and is less than half the price while not having an injury history.

Solid signing.

Why don't they run more post up plays for cousins? I only saw cousins post up one time in this game and it led to a layup for cousins. I thought with Joeger we were going to see more post ups from cousins rather than him hanging out 20 feet from the basket

Kings outrebounding the Clippers and will usually shoot better than 2-15 from three but they HAVE to get their assist-to-turnover ratio to somewhere near 2:1 rather than 1:1.

Not taking care of the ball is the biggest thing hitting them this preseason.

Why can every team hit those easy shots against us but we can't ever hit them? We hit those last 2 shots and it's an 8 point game... but we miss both.

Which has nothing to do with your original point (that luc was a better shooter). Ben has always been a better outside shooter

Luc better shooter inside the lane, around the basket, where jittery Ben rarely goes. Too one dimensional and that one trick pony proving useless on Kings team that needs 2nd option or even 3rd option. Let's face it BMac a miserable failure and shows no sign of living up to expectations. Needs to go and go quickly.
