How Far out can you trade a pick? Seems like there's going to be some GMs inheriting gutted teams at some point.
I almost like to see the Kings gave up 2 2nd's for him. Looks more like they really wanted him than its just taking a flier on a devalued player.
I mentioned this in another thread, but it wouldn't surprise me if McNair ran the possible trade past Sabonis who advocated for Duarte.
very good post thx for this tidbitIn this TV interview in Puerto Rico (spanish) he talked about his draft process and told the anecdote that when he came to Sacramento for his pre-draft workout they told him that they were interested in him and he was 3rd in their list after Suggs and Davion. He thought that he was going to be a King because draft experts said those days Golden State was interested in Davion at #7. So a Monte's guy cheaper who showed to have a great chemistry with one of our stars?

The Kings have improved a lot and turned into a deep team. I don't see anyone in the Summer League getting many minutes except Murray.
He meant in the regular season.Murray's not playing in the summer league. He played 2 games during the California Classic.
Duarte is definitely less of a turnover liability than Davis while still packing some of the streaky scoring ability that Davis has. Duarte is also a couple inches taller. He's a skilled player, could easily play heavier minutes if given the opportunity.N I guess the silver lining here is Terence Davis has played his last game in a Kings uni..
Jones has a shot. He has the kind of team / glue type of game that can probably elevate being around better talent and not whatever it is in Summer League. He’s my number 1 watch going into camp.
well bye bye TD
