As good as our defense has been, our offense has been equally stupid. Ignoring Cousins on offense, and Tyreke missed a huge mismatch when Landry was backing Pierce down in the post. Just a lot of bad play on that end right now. I hope Westphal gets this team organized soon before the Cs start pulling away.

Well, he is coming off the knee surgery, so have Cousins test him facing up. You're right in that he probably won't be getting too many good looks in the low post tonight.

Kings didn't get good shots and didn't make them - shooting horrible 28%. Down 27-20 after 1Q is not a lot - but against Boston it is.

Everything about our offense is just poorly, poorly run at the moment. It has to do partly with the Celtics' great defense, but we can't even run fast breaks correctly right now. We're making it too easy for that defense to begin with. Westphal needs to drill into these guys about moving the ball more.

On the other hand, we're still in this game because our defense has been absolutely stand-up worthy (not in the comedy sense -- that's our offense). Not Celtics soul-crushingly good, but it's been very good regardless.

Man, these Kings deserve tons of credit. We are playing dumb, but the defensive effort is off the charts. Just need to start making better choices on offense. Love love love love love the effort.

One things that's nice about playing the Celtics rather than the Lakers is that you get the chance to play a very good team with more fair officiating.
