Those same friends of yours probably just love them some Brad Pitt and don't mind spending a trillion dollars to go see his movies and make him even richer, even though professional athletes are supremely talented to actors.

And gee, why is Hollywood so rich? Ohhhhh, they have movie studios there. That brings INCOME, people who spend money there, visitors, etc....

No offense, but your friends are short sighted and frankly with that kind of logic I wonder about their IQ level.
