[Game] Cavaliers @ Kings - 1/14/13

Smart is an idiot, This is why i really cant stand to watch the games anymore, what the hell is he seeing in these stupid lineups??

i don't understand how someone can have that much energy. methinks someone slipped TRob meth. he's gone nuts

Nope. This is what Trob did at Kansas on a regular basis. Funny how time and consistent minutes helps a young player showcase his talent

It's easier to accept your role on a team when your playing next to two superstars/ future hall of famers.

Oh of course, no question. But that doesn't change what IT is on the Sacramento Kings, and that is a scoring PG who often looks for his own offense first. I'm not saying that has to be a bad thing, nor am I knocking him as a player. I'm just saying that I can't understand how people can watch him play and reach the conclusion that he is a pass first PG.

Go ahead and pick him up for this week, we are playing each other ;)

  1. He's not available in FKL.
  2. I don't draft players who are only eligble at one position, unless their Top 8-10 at their position (I did keep Illyasova from last year, but he had dual position eligbility at the time, plus he was balling).

Funny how when a young player starts to do the things we need from him he gets more consistent minutes. This all started when he said that he was going to go back to hustling and the things that made him successful. I thought that was the turning point when I saw that quote. Since then he's played much much better, albeit a few careless rookie mistakes that I can easily forgive.

He isn't a pass first pg for sure. More along the lines of a willing passer.

Smart will bring Evans back in after the Under-3-Minute timeout. Kings Fans will be pissed when Evans is ice cold, and blame it on him.

We're a better team when Smart has one less small guard to throw into the mix. I like IT/Jimmer/Brooks but getting rid of one of them should be a priority.

Yes sir. It takes rookies time to adjust to drastically different roles than they had in college. Trob is getting back to what made him successful at Kansas while accepting that he's not a #1 option anymore. Its also why you don't throw rookies out to pasture like many did here
