And, once again, the brave little soldier proves he is so much better than mere mortals. After the broadcast crew pretty much announces his career is over with a horrific knee injury, which on replay looks worthy of an academy award and not the side-to-side hyperextension the crew proclaimed, he writhes in pain on the floor just long enough to actually get the attention of the folks in Staples. He gets up, limping badly, but then, as he goes to the sideline for a moment, the limp starts to go away. He gets to the free-throw line to shoot his freebies, and the crowd begins to chant MVP.

His first free throw is pretty much perfect, with good leg involvement, etc.

I continue to be amazed and astounded at the heart and courage of such a brave little soldier. On any other player, like that wimp Pryzbilla, it would have been a season-ending injury...or possibly the actual detachment of the lower leg onto the floor, to lay there and flop uselessly.

You watching Lakers vs Oklahoma City? ;) Props.

Wanna say Merry Xmas to you, Six, hoops and anyone else here friendly to your foes from down South. Peace!!!

I would say I'm so happy for him, but you could probably feel the insincerity radiating through the monitor. :p

Of course I'm watching... Webber is part of the NBA-TV team covering the action. :p

Haha. I knew it had to be something.

Judging by game, I see Sac as a potential loss. They've been playing about 1-2 hard quarters for much of the last 2 wks and they tend to slog thru back-to-backs. I don't know what they think of the Kings yet. Their effort or lack thereof against you will tell the tale.

I'll tell you one thing. The "feeling" is back in Arco. If the Lakers come swaggering in thinking they own it, they're gonna be sadly mistaken.

:)

Thanks, Gargy! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you, my friend.

Now, as to the brave little soldier...

...

He makes you want to puke, don't he?

:p

It'd be a lie if I tell you I don't hate them, but at least I'm, 5,6 out of 10 times, friendly to their fans..... It's a personal choice, no matter how silly it is. :p

So, from Las Vegas, Merry Christmas to you, and all the Kingsfans as well! :)

The cameras in the locker room accidentally caught Shannon Brown's arse while he was putting on his boxers. Let us give thanks that he didn't turn around. Evidently, they're letting them do interviews a bit too early after gms.

I defended the couple of lakers fans that write things on our board in a civilized manner once. I believe my defense included you.

Merry XMAS to you too Gargamel.

I hate Kobe.

please. You can critise his acting all you want but he does play through a lot of injuries, more then a lot of players
