Shaking Things Up?

If we could get Butler from the Bulls, and that includes giving up Rudy, we would be golden. He is the only top tier SG that you may have a chance of getting. Gibson is a nice player, he would definitely be my second pick for a player to trade for from the Bulls. We need a change.

I would also greatly entertain trading Collison. He's a player that could really bring in a nice piece for us, especially if we send someone else out with him.

There's no chance of getting Butler unless Cousins is in the deal.

I really hate it, when DC goes into this "I dribble the ball and run into traffic, because I can"-mode, but at least DC this season is only a part time chucker. Brooks is a full time chucker. He really isn't doing anything else. I absolutely hate watching this guy. No way I want him back on this team. Vlade luckily avoided throwing money at Lou Williams. I think he won't make the mistake to gift the Bulls a capable all around backup PG and fringe starting PG, while getting back Aaron Brooks, who seems to be a leftover of Thibs, who somehow had a crush for this instant offense undersized SG's, because he couldn't coach offense to save his life (ok ok I'm exaggerating....).

Gibson is a serviceable PF with a nice all around game. But my hope would be, that Willie somehow finds some offensive Mojo and proves, that he can be a starting NBA PF next to DMC. All he has to do is to shoot and hit a 15 ft. jumpshot once in a while.
I take Willie over Gibson because he is much more mobile, runs the floor better and is potentially great as a pick&roll and weak side defender.

And I wouldn't even consider sending out KK. This guy is clearly one of the best backup C's right now and is on a realtively cheap deal. He has the bulk to clog the paint and to defend the occasional strong big man, we run into and with his nice array of floaters and quick hooks can at least get most of the dish off's he gets from Rondo and Cousins up to the basket before the D locks him down.
And unlike Gibson KK will accept every role. Gibson accepted a bench role for the Bulls, because they were a contending team, but was close to blow up, when they signed Gasol and benched him again.
Aquiring him and still playing Willie for large amount of minutes at the PF spot, could be a risky move considering team chemistry.

Talked to bulls fans and it appears that hinrich doesn't have a no trade clause it's Brook who has it now. So the trade would be hinrich not Brooks.

But you need to relax with WCS he ain't developing a jumper this year prolly not next year either. Matter fact it would be best to not expect when in the near future or you'll b setting up for failure. While WCS develops his offense and as a player Gibson is primed and playoff tested as a good defender, spacer, and pick n roll defender. And minuets won't be a problem with Gibson add he'd play 30mpg, DMC 34mpg, and wcs 25mpg.
