Man, this was a great game between two very good teams! I'm not ashamed to admit that I've watched more of this game than the Kings game tonight, either. Very highly contested matchup that, predictably, went down to the wire... and who would have thought that Boston's secret weapon down the stretch would be Glen "Big Baby" F. Davis, of all people? Sixteen of his twenty in the fourth, including 6-for-6 from the field down the stretch.

Boston may or may not be the best team in the league, but I think it's quite fair to say that they're legit at this point.

I didn't care about watching it but friend of my was calling me to complain hiw the refs were helping Pistons all night long. Now I am watching the tape of Hornets and Suns. Now that was a great game with no defense

Eh, one man's ceiling is another man's floor, as the saying goes. The statements "great game" and "no defense" are incompatible, IMHO.

You know, everybody (including myself) acts like they have to apologize for thinking the C's are maybe the best this year. But they are freakin' 29-3 at this point, 29-3! They could go on a 25 game losing streak and still be a +.500 team. They may or may not win it all, but damn.

maybe so but if Kings aren't involved and I watch BB - I want to enjoy it and the Hornets/Suns game was much more fun to watch. I prefer high scoring games.

Like I said, one man's ceiling, and all that... I prefer low-scoring games, where every basket is contested, and players attacking the rim are getting "punched in the mouth," so to speak... Those are the types of games that are more fun to me, personally.

That is why You like the playoffs and I don't. Can't argue the taste.

LOL....You are such a brute. ;)

I love the fast moving, high flying, quick action, high scoring games myself. Save the low scoring, punch in the mouth type for the playoffs. :D

I like fast moving and high scoring if the team is good enough to actually do something with it. Watching two teams that would be lucky to win 30 games in a season (obviously not the case with tonight's game) put 120+ points on the board just seems silly and pointless to me -- more desperation than game plan. But the Kings/Mavs playoff match ups of a few years ago, for example, were just plain fun.

I've almost always responded to defense when it comes to individual players/plays, however.

well, i have watched the last 10 minutes of the game. billups completely blew the game away. he missed 3 free throws, airballed a 3 pointer right after rebounding his own missed free throw. and glen davis was actually a by-product of pierce's penetration and breaking down the pistons defense completely.

was a reallly good game; i am going to have to agree with slim on this one. the only bad: the definition of homerism commenting on the game. for most of you it is bill walton with his utter irrelevancy; for me, it is this tommy guy.

At least Heinsohn is a homer for a team he actually played for. And coached. Walton, by comparison, is a ****-rider...
