Bricklayer said:Please. He's been in the league a long time now. He rebounds well for his size. Unfortunatley his size is too small. On my little unofficial count he is the 13th best PF, out of 15, in the West. But if you like him so much get on the horn with Joe D. and tell him to make us an offer, maybe for Darko. Works for us.![]()

twocents said:i am sorry but what the hell utah is doing? send out raul lopez, snyder and burchardt to get back greg ostertag??? who will run the point? larry miller must have lost that final piece which was the place-holder for a brain.
wells, bibby, peja; interesting trio. who will get to shoot?
tyrant said:bonzi is pretty good last year he averaged over 10 points and 3 rebounds per game. pretty darn good for a player that only averaged 20 minutes per game.
Bonzi is a nice all around two guard who can post up nicely. Can't remember the last SG we had who could do that.

I think I will miss his tenacious D more than anything. I know Bonzi can score, and looking at his stats he did average almost 1.7 steals for Portland in 02-03, but I am wondering if he really is a capable defender. The steals stat is a bit deceiving, Bibby averaged 1.6 last season and we all know what kind of defender he is.

Bricklayer said:Bonzi is more than just the steals -- he's tough. He's not a Doug Christie type defensive specialist, but he is rugged, physical, and very competitive. He does NOT like to be scored upon. Pisses him off. To which I say, Go Dude!
Dave McNulla said:that's a great deal for the kings. wells will contribute more than jackson and the hunchback did together.
if you need a big, call the spurs. they're looking to deal rasho.
jay dubb said:This trade just made the Kings more " versatile" just like Petrie said he was going to do. Now we have guys that can play all kind of positions.
Garcia- Can play the 1, 2, and 3
Bonzi- Can play the 2, 3, and hey maybe even the 1
Martin- Can play the 1, 2, and 3
