Bobcats @ Kings Game Thread

I really think Brad and Shareef should take advantage of their shooting skills by shooting open 3s from places they know they can shoot. For instince the Warriors tommorow, they will give you a lot of open 3pt shots and Kings should take advantage.

These type of shots fall in usually when we face teams like Bobcats.

Thx ;) Yea I think we can do it against the Warriors cause they dont play to much defense either.

I hope you aren't blaming ****ty pass on Martin... Thomas threw it at the back of his head; if Martin hadn't spun around at the last second, he would have gotten beaned.

no i mena in the last couple of games..... since his little career night he hasnt done so well..... and i cant watch the game, im following espn and it just says martin missed layup.....

price is in with 6 minutes left in the game..... wow.... and corliss is scoring too... when is sampson coming in?

He didn't shoot well in the previous game, but he didn't play poorly at all; he did manage to play acceptable defense, and didn't turn the ball over.

thats true..... im a martin supporter but damn.... all i could see is martin missed layup....

Now this is the type of performance I expected from the Kings against the Hornets on opening night. Bibby on fire to start the game, and then Kings just took over offensively and defensively (or may be the Bobcats just couldn't buy a shot) in the second quarter, and haven't looked back from there. Feels good to be at .500.

Sampson is our 13th player and, as such, is dressed in street clothes on the bench. He is considered inactive (used to have IL). If someone is injured and placed inactive, then Sampson will be activated. Can only have 12 active players at a time.

I'd like to clarify that one point. This year, since there is no injured list, Sampson could in essence trade places with any of the active players tomorrow. It wouldn't require an injury. If, for example, they decided they really needed another big, they could put Price (or anyone else) on the inactive list, and then activate Jamal.

Much better system, IMHO, and we don't have to hear about those mysterious ... and often phantom ... knee injuries or groin pulls, etc.

;)

Kings win... but it won't be easy against the young and scrappy 'Cats.

Sean May I think is out for a bit with soreness in his knee.

Well, glad I was wrong about it not being easy.Very surprised Charlotte didn't play better.. Always good to get a rout win.

Peja was obviously rusty out there, but at least he got some minutes under him in a fairly easy-going game.

I wasn't too surprised at G-Wall's game, he's had some inconsistencies still this season. Also must of had something to with returning to Sacramento.

Bench was really good tonight, and I think as been said, that's going to start coming together more now. At some pace. Loved Martin's spinning jumper...

Warriors next, I dunno, should be a tough game.

Thanks for helping with the clarification. While an injury to another player will get Sampson activated, I did not mean to imply that it is the only way to get Sampson activated. As VF says, they can switch places between players on the active and inactive list anytime they choose.
