I don't know if I've ever been more ready for a trade to go down. I was ready for the Bibby trade, ready for the Artest trade, but the current combination of suckitude and young guys not getting minutes has made this trade deadline especially angst-ridden for me.
And I'm right there with you both. I keep checking for updates several times a day, praying there's a trade going down for just the reasons you have stated nbrans.I couldn't have said it better myself!

Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Let new Kings come, and let our will be done, on our court, with a little help from heaven. Forgive us our past mistakes, as we forgive all those, who don't wish to play here. Lead us not into bad contracts, but deliver us to finanical security. Now, and before the hour of the deadline.![]()

Didn't want Marbury last year and still don't want him anywhere near the Kings. And Pau Gasol? Since when was HE even on the table for us? He wasn't going to come to Sacramento, dude.
Revisionist history may be fun but it's not very accurate.
Why are you so worried about Marbury? I would assume if he's traded for he would never even suit up.

This year, yes. But last year? You don't pick up a guy that expensive a year ahead of time just to be an ender....for that much $$$ he would have been on the court....
I wasn't talking about last year.

before the trade to the lakers everyone knew he was available but people kept saying that he was too soft. i brought up the idea of trading for him back in the offseason but no one wanted any part of it. marbury wouldve been a good trade since the knicks are paying him to not play.
