Well, either we ignore Ron and hope that this is just a moment of frustration that will go away, or we feed him the ball more and more and hope that he develops some offensive efficiency. I wish I could be more positive, but given Ron's past history, neither option looks good to me right now.
However, there is one way out: I do think the best way to go at this point is to keep playing team basketball and just try to win games. If we win, I do think Ron will be happy. If we don't, well, Ron might blow up,
but then he's a free agent at the end of the season, and we can rebuild then. If Ron keeps forcing things and we lose games, I don't think he'll be happy anyway. So yeah, the bottom line is, do whatever we have to win as many games as possible, and if it means Ron having a reduced role in the offense, then so be it. If Ron wants that dominant role in the offense, then he'll just have to prove that he can make it worthwhile for the Kings to give him that role. We can do this because we're not yet married to Ron over the long haul.
