I just flat out don't understand O'Brien's coaching decisions. Does he think Matt will take shots from Iverson or something? He'd be an even bigger shot in the arm for the Sixers than he was for us.

I don't understand all that either! Barnes deserves playing time..I don't think it's fair that he just has to sit on the bench..he's better than that! I was so impressed with what he was doing in Sac and I was thinking Sixers have CWebb AND Barnes now..that's gonna help a lot..and the poor guy hasn't even gotten one minute on the floor. Ahh, It makes me so mad! I hope he can get back to Sac if this is how it's gonna be for him in Philly

then he wouldn't be the ball hog that he is. He runs that team and probably tells O'Brien what to do. They need a coach with some balls (can I say that?) who can put AI in check and utilize the other players. Last team I checked there was more than one player on the court in the same uniform. There's no I in team but definitely one in Iverson and O'Brien and it doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon.

yeah obrien utilizes his players talents horribly but let's be honest about matt playing for the sixers. theyre clinging on to 8th place in a playoff race and new jersey and orlando are within one game behind of them. obrien is definately not the kind of coach thats going to all of a sudden put his faith into matt at a time like this. with that said, if matt isnt signed again next year, i dont know what to say. he was my second favorite player to cwebb on the roster. if i had a chance to play for sacramento (things do happen

for all you haters iverson is GREAT!!!!!!! but anyways i think Barnes deserves alot more playing time! with a little practice and coaching he could become a great defender...... do you guys remember his last game with us? he had a double/double! remember the out of bounds play off of massenburgs leg? i see people on here saying "not enough talent" well what do you think erik daniels is? i would be more than happy to welcome matt barnes aka Sac Towns Finest back to the team!
