hmmmm... looks like Ronron is starting..

I find this classic Ronron:

During a wide-ranging news conference at the San Diego Chargers' media trailer, Artest drew some laughs with a few slip-ups.

"I didn't realize how far L.A.'s tentacles, or whatever you want to call them, extend, all the way to San Diego. I thought I was going to be getting some Golden State Warrior fans, because I didn't know where I was at. Most of the fans are Lakers fans, so that's great.

"And I'm also here to say that next year I'll be trying out for the San Diego Chargers, so I look forward to that. Hopefully I can play some baseball. Is there a baseball team here?"

You're wearing the hat, he was told.

"I know I'm wearing the hat. I just love the SD. The logo looks great. I didn't realize there was a baseball team in San Diego."

To be fair, the Padres have been lousy, so it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't notice them.

Yeah, but it's not like the Padres are only playing the last two years or something. I'm not living in USA and not much of a baseball fan, but I know that San Diego has a baseball team and their name is Padres. Or maybe he was just making fun of them because they have been playing poorly lately?

I don't know why he felt like he had to proclaim that to the world. That will be automatic, regardless of the circumstances. Unless Kobe Bryant or Pau Gasol is hurt at a critical time, the Lakers are the favorites. And if they don't win, what's changed? All signs point to #15, I mean #23, I mean #96, I mean #37.

Id have to argue that Boston is the favorite. They now have two guys that can defend Gasol (Garnett, Wallace) and enough big bodies to contend with LA's bigman trio. Then they still have Pierce,Allen, and Rondo. The Celtics also play better defense. Boston is looking deadlier to me.

I don't think anyone would argue that Boston isn't going to have a shot at the title, but the Lakers being the defending champs and all makes them the favorites until they show that they don't deserve that recognition.

They are also a combined 14,357 years old. At any point somebody could trip on their dentures and break a hip and its over.

As long as the kings beat them in the regular season i dont care what LA does. nevermind, i lied. I loathe them and hate to see them achieve even the smallest amount of success.

So what does he think the "SD" stood for? Stupid Dummy? In that case, Ron, wear that hat with PRIDE, buddy.
