I just checked espn.com and there is nothing new about it.
Thats because they arent making the same mistake yesterday when they "jumped the gun". I think they are waiting for official word when all parties have agreed. I think they pretty much got word of the league office yesterday that the trade was ok with them.

Sorry, i don't see the downside. The team can only get better.

I remember peja running all over the court off screens, tought to guard, energetic. That guy left. He has been gone for 3 years.

He's just what we need, a great defender

Artest
PPG 19.4
RPG 4.90
APG 2.2
SPG 2.63
EFF + 16.12

Stojakovic
PPG 16.5
RPG 5.30
APG 2.2
SPG .61
EFF + 14.65

Who's better?
You know..... Admit it....

Best of luck to the Kings with Ron. I hope it works out better for him there than it did back here in Indy (assuming the Maloofs approve after talking with RA). Maybe a fresh start is what he needs. Keep your fingers crossed, your legs crossed, don't hold your breath, don't walk under a ladder, don't cross paths with a black cat, don't break any mirrors, etc--if the Kings fans can avoid all these types of bad omens, perhaps it will work out. Again, will you take Stephen Jackson as part of the deal??

This is the best opportunity for Ron. I predict that he will come around just like Webber did. The first time that he hears 17,333 going nuts for his effort and defense will hopefully help him realize that what we have here is something special.

I have a feeling this was all agent BS and Ron maybe really didn't mind playing for us at all. I hope.
Errr...knowing Artest, he probably whined to his agent, and his agent pretty much told the kings front office something they werent supposed to know, and Artest tried to retract it, probably because his wife scratched him again or something. :)

Obviously, I'm going to reserve any celebration until the Official Word that this is Officially Official comes out.

But God...I hope it happens. The ball is now in the Maloofs' court.

He heard that from 20K fans for about 10 games this year. Its not a question of acceptance from the fans/managment/coaches/city--he had all that here. Its a question of acceptance from the voices in his head. As a Kings fan, I do hope it works out, as I will continue to watch every game they play. Go Cisco!

Is anyone else struck by the absurdity of the title (contnet) of this thread? Since when do players aprove trade deals? Espcially guys who are on indifinate suspension from the team holding the contract?

Did he liked playing for Indiana??? Still He has better numbers than Peja...
Take 16 best games Peja had this year and averages might be different. If Ron played as many games the numbers could have been different.

Technically we granted him that power by backing out yesterday. He was the one who nixed it too. In normaland you just go through wiht the deal and ignore the player's complaints, if he has them. Since we are not in normal land, we let him nix the deal, then turned around and let him re-greenlight it. Always an element of enabling in cases like this.

If he had played like his "best 16 games" we would be winning and first on the division. Two Words: HE'S INCONSISTANT and getting worst...

Yet one more example of why I lack the patience, understanding and tollerance necessary to be GM... ;)

Indiana is doomed. If the trade goes.

I hope Peja proves you wrong!! I personally think that Peja could thrive in Indiana. It has been no secret that Bird likes his game and I think Peja could improve immensely under the tutelage of Larry Bird!! If this trade comes down I only hope for the best for Peja. I have been disappointed in his play of late but he still is the only King whose jersey I own. Just like other Kings that have left for other teams I only wish Peja the very best!!

I think Peja would do well for them. Whether they lose Artest's defense is a moot point. They've already lost it every time he spazzed out.

You've got a powder keg in a small market. This will be interesting to watch.

And your credibility goes right out of the window. You are only speaking out as a Peja hater and that's it.
I dont hate peja... I just want the best for our team. And Peja wasnt helping anymore.

Maybe hell help in Indiana(sarcasm)

Did you see the last minutes of the Kings Miami game? Peja turned over the ball on important possesions.
