I have always felt like this is important information for Kings fans to know, especially seeing as how we always cry about being a small market team:

Listed in accordance to Arbitron's Market Survey Schedule and Population Rankings:
#1 New York Knicks
#1 (Canada) Toronto Raptors. 1/3 of the population of Canada (11.5 Million people) lives w/in 200km of Toronto.
#2 LA Clippers
#2 LA Lakers
#3 Chicago Bulls
#4 Golden State Warriors
#5 Dallas Mavericks
#6 Houston Rockets
#7 Atlanta Hawks
#8 Philadelphia Sixers
#9 Washington Wizards
#10 Boston Celtics
#11 Detroit Pistons
#12 Miami Heat
#15 Phoenix Suns
#16 Minnesota Timberwolves
#19 New Jersey Nets
#21 Denver Nuggets
#23 Portland Trail Blazers
#25 Charlotte Bobcats
#27 Sacramento Kings
#29 Cleveland Cavaliers
#30 Utah Jazz
#31 San Antonio Spurs
#34 Orlando Magic
#37 Milwaukee Bucks
#40 Indiana Pacers
#48 Oklahoma City Thunder
#49 Memphis Grizzlies
#55 New Orleans Hornets
The Kings are 21st as far as market size in the NBA. They are a top 30 market in the country, so (in theory) if there are only 30 teams Sacramento should have one. Las Vegas is #33, a smaller market than Sacramento, so it would be a fool move to run down there, especially considering that the citizens there just don't seem to care.
Of the 9 teams below us the following six have superstar talent: OKC, NO, Orlando, Cleveland, San Antonio, and Utah. However, ALL of those superstars were acquired through the draft.
I have just been summoned, professional pontificators feel free to extrapolate!
