Announcing: A New KF Moderator

Bricklayer

Don't Make Me Use The Bat
In recent months I have been increasingly aware that numerous projects around the board were reaching such a level that it was putting strains on the existing mod staff, and so I began to consider whether or not we should add a new mod to the crew to help spread the day to day load out.

The difficulty of course is that we have incredibly high standards for mods here, and finding an individual who was sufficiently cruel, selfish, disrespectful, domineering, bad smelling and missing some or all of his or her teeth is always a challenge. In fact I think the last mod we added may have been Warhawk, who of course turned out to be pretty vile even by KF mod standards (we mostly just keep him locked up in the mod forum biting the heads off of baby hamsters). But then it came to me -- who better to help us run the numbers on our various extortion rackets and launder our drug money than a human calculator? All that was left was to confirm that he possessed a pleasing lust for world domination in the indepth KF Modding Job Interview (summation: "u want mod?" -- "uhuh") and we realized that indeed we had found a new tyrant worthy of elevation to the exalted halls of the mod forum.

Accordingly, everyone please give a rousing KF welcome to a new lord and master eager to violate your civil rights and accept your bribes:

Congratulations, Capt. factorial. Two things: how are we to address you now, and weren't you a mod already?

P.S.: does this make you a Maj. now?

Well, I guess I'll really have t suck up to you at summer league next year. Congrats, I think, mi amigo.....:)

No -- that is the beauty of it and why he has so much potential. He came upon that air of dismissive superiority naturally. Typically it takes years for a mod to hone those smug skills.

And while "Sir" always works, and as a new mod Capt. may opt for something more colorful such as "Great and Terrible Master of the Demesne", I have heard that in private he often goes by "Fluffybuns".

Pfft. Everyone knows Texas Instruments™ has control of the market.

(Congratulations, btw!)

OH NO!! a mod that knows about Kings and NBA. World doom. How will we handle honest input? I need a beer. BTW Congrate, I think

It happens. Why he would be demoted to Major is hard to fathom.

Depends on whether your talking about the Navy or the Army, and the equality of ranks. So if your talking about going from a Navy Capt, to an army Major, then you'd be right, it would be a demotion. However, if your talking about going from an army Capt to an army Major, then it would be a promotion. :eek:o_O

Somebody got it. There are a few Navy men on this forum. I think my logic fell apart as there are no Majors in the Navy and why would anyone want to leave the Navy?
