So... we got hammered in the most recent Fan Night vote: OKC/POR won, with something like eighty-nine percent (we were second with a paltry six percent), which is not surprising. What is surprising is that NBA TV has apparently decided to flex us into the schedule, anyway, and make the SAC/CLE game on Tuesday Night the first half of a double header! So... yeah, go us!


P.S. - Suck on that, Sir Charles! I heard what you said on Thursday night.

Technically, OKC/POR is on Fan Night. Our game will not be covered by the Fan Night crew of EJ, Greg Anthony and Chris Webber.

Our game merely got flexed onto the NBA TV schedule, for reasons unknown, but which I am not complaining about. The studio coverage for that game will, most likely, be provided by Kamla, Dennis Scott, and F.U. Rick Fox.

I'll vote for us, but only if I get a promise from someone that Doris Burke will be back.

You're out of luck, for two reasons:

1. Voting has already ended, and we lost, by a lot. NBA TV decided to add our game to their schedule. Maybe it was out of pity for Cousins being snubbed, maybe it's to showcase All-Star Kyrie Irving... Who knows?
2. Doris Burke works for ESPN.

I don't think that ESPN has the same sort of flexibility in their schedule; unless I am misinformed about that, the earliest we could hope for hearing Doris cover another Kings game would be next season.

That is a sad list to choose from. John Wall vs. DeMarcus "I'm Going to Lose My Headband At Least Once During This Game and Scowl" Cousins? I'm in ... but that Bucks game and Anteokuonmpo look juicy too.

Couple other details to add to what was already mentioned by TyFreak Evans:

• This is the last week of Fan Night; no other games will be eligible for voting this season.
• The other contenders for Fan Night are: TOR@ATL, and MIL@POR. At the time of this post, our game was in second place, with 37 percent of the vote. TOR@ATL leads, with 42 percent. So, still winnable.
• Voting, as usual, ends at 00:00 EST Friday (21:00 PST Thursday). You can vote as many times as you want, between now and then, so vote often!
