Adelman Fired!!! (placeholder thread)

Whispered aside...

I would like to publicly thank Jeremy for the IGNORE feature, which has probably saved my sanity and cut way down on the toxic poof dust particles in the air.

I read Kravitz and WOW

Jackson might be the worst Pacers signing since Bruno Sundov

RC would not make a PO out of that because Kings won't be healthy

yea...ive read both voison and kravitz....and in my mind, voison is just a cheap wannabe kravitz...

RC would take the sacramento Jr. high school team to the playoffs...know this...if carlisle was coaching the current kings, they would make the playoffs....there is zero doubt in my mind about that....now u all would grow very tired of 79-75 games...and they would most likely lose in the first round...but they would still be there....

FALSE ADVERTISING!! MISLEADING OFFER!!

Bricklayer, I would like you to sue foretaz on behalf of me and all the other Kings fans who were momentarily elated at the thought of trading Ailene Voisin for a rock singer.

no but You can use Sampson - he is one of the best in the league on the position of an inactive list player. Second best behind Ron Artest

That's like settling for spaghetti at the local high school fund raiser when you had your heart set on two for one night at the Mongolian BBQ place.

errr this may be a bit off topic but what exactly do the Mongolians BBQ? I have this image of a Yak on a spit and its not very appetizing.:D

Beef. At least that's what they call it, and considering how good it is, I simply prefer to believe them and not ask too many questions.

;)

Oh, Carolija! I quoted your signature today... ;)

Unfortunately, I didn't cite you because I couldn't remember who had it. I did cite Confucius and Geoff Petrie, though.

:D

See, the Mongolians have become wimps and that's why they are largely restricted to living in a frozen desert nowadays.

Back when the Mongolians mattered they would have barbecued YOU, and then fed the leftovers to their yaks. :D

Boy, you guys/gals were busy over night. I started this post as a joke and then went to bed....I get up and it's already 4 pages!!!! Don't you people sleep  .

Ryle, Petrie is stubborn. He wont fire the guy until the sun burns out. Apparently coaches figure him out when it counts the most. I don't know why when the other team improoves, he just sits and blames people "not listening" or "not giving 110%". Gee Wiz, must be his great motivational charimatic skillz huh? Every time I listen to his interviews I have to pop some Prozac and lock the knives and lighter fluids in a cabinet.

i've heard that mongolians consider the fat of their hunt a delicacy. then again, that was a long time ago. it was on some PBS special

LOL... we will look to you for frivolous posts that generate all sorts of excitement. Not to mention, everyone here has FAR too much time on their hands ;)

And now, if and when Adelman is indeed fired, no one will believe it when it's posted here, they'll think it's another joke.

I think the end of the Adelman era is near. I've never supported the idea of getting rid of Adelman. However, I just don't see how the organization moves forward without making that move first.

IMO the team has tanked at least three home games this year. They have either been ill prepared or completely tuned Adelman out. Losing to Portland in the fashion they did(giving up 100+ points) to an ineffective road team and the loss last night are telling. Either Adelman is completely ignoring defense or the team has tuned him out.

Even with subpar athletes the Kings should be a better defensive team and MUCH more competitive at home.

I mentioned it in another thread, but Rick Adelman deserves a lot better than what the players have done to him lately.

In his place, I doubt if I would have been anywhere near as calm, cool and collected as he appeared last night, which makes me wonder if he already knows his misery is almost over. As much as some people get mad at him, I cannot even begin to imagine what it would be like in his shoes. He is a premiere NBA coach, with a record many would give their eye teeth for, and yet a decent group of players is - on repeated occasions - making him look ineffectual and incompetent.

I have some advice for Rick: Go into Petrie's office. Jump up and down on his desk; throw his pencil jar across the room; turn around, pull down your trousers and moon him; make disparaging comments about his heritage. Do whatever it takes to get him angry enough to say those two little words - YOU'RE FIRED - and get rid of the albatross around your neck that is weighing you down and stinking up your whole life.

Yes, I want Adelman fired. But for HIS sake. Once he's gone, NO ONE will be able to blame him for anything and the fickle finger of fate will have to point elsewhere.

ditto. I also mentioned in another thread that the organization needs to do Rick the best favor possible: fire him.
