Have they considered trading Joker for Zion though?I don't want to hear anybody complaining about players lacking loyalty, ever again. "Just get a haul" for the 3x MVP who led your franchise to it's only championship ever. That dude should be allowed to stay in Denver until he wants to leave, to hell with the future.

I think the assumption at least partially is that the team is hopeless and will never win again and therefore Jokic would want to move on as well.I don't want to hear anybody complaining about players lacking loyalty, ever again. Why would that be the assumption?I think the assumption at least partially is that the team is hopeless and will never win again and therefore Jokic would want to move on as well.
Nobody forced the Mavericks to trade Luka Dončić, not the NBA or anybody else. The Mavericks traded Dončić because Nico Harrison is a moron. They’d run it through him first nobody would trade Jokic level player without a trade demand unless the nba forces you too like the Luka trade
I don't know... because some players demand trades when the teams are bad? Because some fans have transferred championship or bust onto the players even if many are content to compete and earn a check and have some loyalty? Why would that be the assumption?
Nikola Jokic was informed of the decision earlier today before it was announced today, per sources.

Jokic HAD *NOT* requested a change in front office or coaching, though his evident frustration with this season played a part in ownership's decision-making process.
wait is it normal for NBA owners to publicly address their head coach and GM being fired? https://t.co/lcne8SBwrJ

In my opinion, if you have a generational player fresh off an NBA championship and you’re unwilling to pay the tax to win another, you should sell the team to someone who will.

Off season is set to be wild. Durant trade? Ja trade? What about Zion? It seemed like it could be quiet on the coach front because a lot of teams have young coaches or tenured level coaches but nope. Who else will get fired? Bud? Nurse? “It’s a complete crap” guy? What about Thibs?
BOoth should have been fired the moment he signed the likes of Nnaji and Saric to NBA contracts. Barring god tier play from Murray/Jokic Denver was not a contender this year way to flawed and not deep enough team and MPJ is one of the worst most limited 3rd options in the NBA. They don't use Gordon enough imo he should be touching the ball way more.
no chance he comes back to work for this franchise with vivek still the owner.

Not Matt George making up another imaginary narrative in his head for some reason again
Any Kings fan doing victory laps about Michael Malone being fired because of the comments he's made about the Kings organization (not Sacramento) need to take a breath.
