76ers v. Toronto

G_M

Starter
123-102 Raptors with 4 mins left in the game.

Philly not gaining in the race for the playoffs.

Donyell Marshall 35pts in 24 minutes...ahhh..would have loved to see that guy coming off the Kings bench!

Marshall can start for a lot of teams. He would start for the Raptors if they weren't a bottomfeeder team. They're obviously tanking the season to develop young talent and gain a good pick.

Well, not to take anything away from Marshall, but the Sixers are currently a "Jim O'brien" team. The same O'brien who was once quoted for saying: "We play the same defense on everybody." If someone is red-hot from the three, it doesn't matter... still collapse on the cutters and leave the shooter wide-open. Playing the percentages, as it were... Of course, someone with a brain would realize that percentages don't mean a damn in a one-game situation where a guy gets hot. You're not playing against a computer simulation.

I think we pretty much established that O'Brien is a horrible coach a while back. At some point, as a player, who ever was supposed to be guarding him, has to step up and do something about reguardless of the coaches defensive "schemes"

sorry to see the 76ers lost, but happy to see that Webb seems to be finding his shot -- he shot 9/19, w/5 rebounds and 3 assts. He also played 35 minutes. The 76ers are having a tough time right now, I seriously hope that they can pull out a win against the Lakers on Tuesday!

Thanks for Webb's stats. Good game by him. Nice to see his stroke getting back.
