If the Cavs are struggling a bit we need to jump on them early. Play tough defense and see if we can get a top team down and have Zach be on fire and I think we will light the Beam

I'm going to go with the usual routine.

1st qtr - down by 20

2nd qtr - cut it to within 5

3rd qtr - pace them but gradually lose ground

4th qtr - fall apart and lose by 25

It doesn't have to be that way. The lineup could use changes that address the weak times and promote the strong performance times.

Unfortunately, your "usual routine" summary is spot on. Doing the same thing game to game and hoping for something different to occur is folly. Admittedly, there are times when the routine works out but not enough to justify monomaniacally repeating the causes for it.

This team could, and should, perform at a higher level.

This is the moment where LaVine has to take the team by the horns and be the man. Might be time to be a little more selfish at the start to see if he has a big night coming.

It should be an interesting matchup. In games like this, it pays to put a lot of players on the court, college style, and try to run down the other team, since they are on a back-to-back and missing their second-leading scorer and leading assist man, Darius Garland.

I am sure the Cavaliers figure they can win this game without Garland, who is resting. Maybe the Kings will take that as a put-down.
