CJ is bulky with a low center of gravity. He’s built like Bobby Jackson. And those bowling ball guys are the ones that Keon’s traditionally been completely unable to slow down.

DeMarr doesn't play D and committed two crucial stupid fouls that put the Pelicans at the line continuously. This game shouldn't even have to gone OT if DeMarr learn to play defense by just keeping himself in front of the ballhandler. I just don't get why you can't play a simple defense...fouling a guy by taking bad angle? Man....it sucks that this has no one that can play D. Christie shouldn't play Keegan ...he's too damm slow also coming around pick. That's why he let Klay nailed a 3 the other night. You should have Ellis in there, not Keegan.

We’re in the picture for the home stretch. Next up is the Dubs on the 21st. Devastating loss before the break, you had to have this one. This team is not convincing they will be in the Playoffs this year. The defense is just awful.

Folks have to realize, this isn't about this season necessarily. It's next season. By mid time next year if this is meh, it's rebuild time.

Hell no he wouldn't, Keegan is soft and sometimes slow around the corner. Keon is fast and quick and can bother CJ.

I’m honestly one offseason away from being done with this team. Gonna see how things unfold in the summer. If there’s no true hope then I might be out. Going on 27 years as a fan from Los Angeles. The ineptitude is just too damn high. I wanna stay committed but the unnecessary stress may not be worth it anymore.

I just don’t see that happening. I don’t see the kings trading an in prime Sabonis. Lavine if he plays the way he did tonight might be a trade asset by the deadline but limited return given the dollar amount. Deebo only fits a handful of teams. I’d imagine one of Deebo or Lavine could be gone but that might be a buying situation for the kings as opposed to a sell

The Mavs pretty much tried to give their game away today by resting pretty much their entire rotation and still won their game against the Heat despite Herro dropping 40. The Thunder suddenly forgot how to shoot and lost to the Wolves by 15. Basketball is weird like that and there are 82 games in the season. Let’s all just take a deep breath and step away from the ledge for a moment lol

I think Kings should hire Mike Brown back to teach these guys how to play D...goddam, they're horrible. Taking bad angle defending...out of position...fouling when you know your team is foul trouble...what are you doing DeMar?

You don't win game by shooting beautifully....you win games by stop the other team from scoring!!

Is the Pelicans really that great or is the Kings just so weak defensively. I bet on the latter any day!

I don’t blame you. When you are a fan as long as some of us, after a couple (or 3) decades of the same ol BS it loses all its fun. Once that happens you gotta take a step away.

I see this loss as learning lesson for the new coach and the players.

Keegan was the best defensive player again today, I don't get the criticism again. He needed Keon most of the time next to him on the floor, that barely happened.
Also what's the point of having Crowder on the bench and IJ with street clothes on the bench as well? Either let him cook in G-League or have him active with the senior squad.

With Zion not playing tonight, I absolutely knew the KINGS would lose to this trash team tonight. IDC how hungry they were to end their losing streak, that is a major trash team. They lost 10 consecutive for good reason. Should have been 11. But unfortunately our KINGS like to take siestas during games.

I’m also far past tired of CJ McCollum playing over his head almost every team these teams play. Angry over being slighted or not, the dude just isn’t near as good as he seems to play against us. Zion going off I can understand … he’s a freak athlete for which the KINGS have no answer. But CJ freaking McCollum? Dude is a dime a dozen 20 ppg guard that is by no means super athletic. Between Keon, Monk, and Keegan — that dude shouldn’t be roasting the KINGS as he does.

It’s just the basketball gods hating on Sacramento, per usual.
