Yeah, that's what happened last year but it's hard to figure how he's one of the 15 best players in the league and isn't counted among the top 12 in the West. Cause there's no "games played" requirement for being an All Star, I guess. But maybe there should be?

I just saw that the Knicks decimated the Grizzlies, 143-106. We're not the only ones getting knocked about. That is a legit team. Three guys with over 20 points again: Bridges, Towns, and Brunson. Anunoby had "only" 15 but was +41 in this one. Bridges was +43.

Good point. Guys get voted in as starters for fan reasons who probably won't make All NBA. Steph Curry this year, for instance. The game is in SF so he was guaranteed a roster spot even if he didn't get voted in as a starter.

It's really pathetic right now
Starters had to play extra hard to make up for a few disastrous bench minutes, especially when Domas sits.They were -15 in 6 and a half minutes Sabonis didn't play.

-This game confirmed my bias on Day'ron Sharpe. He's good good, we need to do whatever we can to get him in a Cam Johnson deal. Or just by himself.

Since the starters never fully leave the court, I feel like our bench is more defense orientated by design. This is why we dam near have 4 20+ point starters. One of them is always on the floor

The idea that Domantas Sabonis might not be selected for the All Star game this year is absolutely insane. Whatever your All Star criteria might be, there is no excuse for leaving this guy out with the way he's played in the first half of the season.

I wonder if this comes up with the CBA in the future - so much money rides on it, but guys will lose out because of fan voting. Doesn’t seem fair (and certainly small market teams shouldn’t be happy about it)

Quiet as it's kept, it's lowkey ****ed up that the Kings are on an east coast swing the week that coaches vote on reserves, and won't be playing against any teams whose coaches could vote them in. Didn't that happen last year, too?

I'm glad Christie doesn't come from anyone's "coaching tree". They guy was practically a coach on the court during his playing days and understands the game on a profound level. If anything, Christie comes from Coach Carill's tree.
