Wow fox actually sounded like a leader in this press? Interesting
He was out there at the end for a minute or twoKessler Edwards didn’t even get burn tonight.
I think this is where we see if Doug really has some potential. Can he get these guys playing all out, for 48 minutes, for a sustained period going forward. This team can’t afford anymore letdown games.
Dude hurt his calf in workouts after the Olympics and got shut down because it’s a precursor injury to an Achilles tear. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was never really able to get in his cardio up until the last few weeks.lol….watching the press conference. Monk just called Lyles fat to start the year. Lost some lb’s and so playing better now.
The Kings got lucky, the Mavs missed some wide open ones on those terrible doubles by the Kings.
It’s going to be on Monte to clear up some room in the rotation for him. Otherwise, I would think we won’t be seeing much of KVonWill be interesting to see how the rotation changes when Devin gets healthy because knowing Doug, he’s going to probably get a lot of minutes.
It’s the effort in the second half that gives me some hope….(why do I do this to myself with this team)Yeah it’s worth remembering we just beat a severely short handed Mavs team but it’s that energy that was so inspiring, more so than just getting the W (altho we badly needed that obviously)
We were better when he concentrated on offense. Maybe he is simple minded and can lock in when it really needed down the stretch and I don’t know maybe shoot like he did when is was just a rookie in the nba. That is not how these guys think. Do you not see the look of utter concentration in Murray's eyes when he is guarding his man, the crouching stance, the arms spread wide? That is the look of a man who wants to beat his man and beat the other team.
The thing is that the Mavs were so devoted to blocking shots that it totally pulled them out of position for rebounds nd helped lead to the huge second chance point diferential.13 blocked shots vs 1
Monte.. size matters!
Vivek its time to open your purse or trade the team to someone willing to.
Lyles is amazing this game![]()
Right, on the other hand, it gave them a chance to keep them within striking distance. The thing is that the Mavs were so devoted to blocking shots that it totally pulled them out of position for rebounds nd helped lead to the huge second chance point diferential.
I've seen enough. We're headed to the playoffs lol
It would be fun to make some noise and be in the hunt again. We shall see! We’re only 3.5 games back of the play-in so it’s certainly not out of the picture yet

well think of all of the games the Kings missed wide open shots and the other team got lucky with the win.
“All endeavor calls for the ability to tramp the last mile, shape the last plan, endure the last hours toil,...The fight to the finish spirit is the one characteristic we must possess if we are to face the future as finishers.”tonight during the 3rd and 4th qtr I saw some fight from this team. this is what we need. If we play all our games with that fight we will win quite a few games this year
True, but any team that routinely gives up open looks like the ones the Kings do has a limited ceiling regardless.
Will be interesting to see how the rotation changes when Devin gets healthy because knowing Doug, he’s going to probably get a lot of minutes.
