Keegan’s driving and midrange game has improved leaps and bounds. Also his defense, but too bad it’s accompanied by the continued collapse of his three ball.

But good Lin

Kings move into number 2 on the tankathon board. Tied with Pacers. Wizards won too so they inch closer to 1. Clippers look well on their way to a win.

It’s good that Clippers and Pelicans have a lot of talent and no reason to want to tank since they don’t keep their picks. If anything. They have incentive to get as far out of the top 5 as possible to save themselves the ultimate embarrassment.

The Sharks game started at the same time and went longer and it was an easy choice on what to watch there since I already saw Kings vs Portland two days ago. If the best that can be said about this game is that we moved closer to the #1 spot in the lottery, there's not much point tuning in to watch any of these games anymore. Not until something changes with the roster. Good minutes for the kids is encouraging but ugh, it's still frustrating when they build momentum only to get subbed out for the vets in crunch time. It makes it hard for this group to build any kind of coherent identity.

Nique and Cardwell put on a masterclass on the defensive end. That was fun to watch.
kings defense was very good in the Cardwell minutes. Like not just “good for the Kings”. Portland was having a hard time scoring.

Also the minutes with Raynaud were surprisingly very good defensively.

I can see Cardwell also playing very good minutes with Sabonis in that case. I’d like to see him promoted to a real contract with the team. While Eubanks is a lot better than I expected him to be, I’d prefer to see Cardwell get minutes

Probably release McBuckets or Saric.

In pretty sure we could put the lid back on Domas being traded this season if his estimated return date is only a week or two before the deadline at the earliest.

Actually it was fun to watch the young guys play and see how they are developing. That at least brings some long term hope.

Funnily enough, you probably missed the Kings best defensive game of the year. Cardwell, Keegan and Nique in particular were outstanding on defense.
