Max’s feel for the game is so good for a second rounder rookie. Sure he’s like a year older than a lot of guys in his class were but I’m not sure how he managed to fall to 42 in this draft class even if his agent did orchestrate a fall to us for some unknown reason.

Most teams only keep guys for like a half decade at the most so it’s always weird when they draft a guy for a potential extra two or three years in a decade and a half.
So weird I wanted TJ to go to college night at his school and he refused, instead he wanted to go to his K-8's Christmas play. And yet maybe we'd normally have had tickets to this game.
Portland weather is awful today, nasty storm and potential flooding, so I'm happy to watch a little on TV I guess. It's on local TV, but on the ABC network's .2 channel. Beats the horrid Root RSN though.

A prominent Celtics fan started using the nickname "Time Lord" to playfully highlight these blunders, and Williams embraced it.
Robert Williams. Something about him falling asleep after being drafted and breaking the space time continuum or something. No I'm not going to find the exact story, it's dumb but cool.
We have no idea if Carter is good or not because we won't play him. Which is a pretty significant problem for a year 2 lotto pick
He looks GOOD. Very impactful so far
I can't tell if I am willing to accept his lack of PT is evidence something is seriously deficient with him or if I am still seething mad at the possibility that is true knowing picking him contributed in no small part to everything that happened last year.
