Yeah F that. So basically HB and Duarte vs Bruce Brown?
Again I’m okay with bringing our guys back but why dump another pick in the draft. The only answer at this point is the owner is cheap as hell

If you don’t believe in spending 30M for Grant fine, then draft Prosper. Instead we have no free agent and no 1st round pick.

Well, there's some cap shenanigans still going around apparently that we can basically operate as an over the cap team and use the MLE.

We'll see what the final result is. If Holmes+24 turns into like Zubac or someone in that vein... I can live with that.

SLAB

Hall of Famer
GOOOOODD LOORRRRDDDDD. HE'S NOT BETTER THAN HB PEOPLE.

What's crazy is there's a good chunk of Kings fans who would have given him this.

Worst contract in basketball, good lord.
Lots of people are better than Harrison Barnes. Dude’s mid as hell. Just because Grant got a stupid contract doesn’t make his skills worse.

At their price points, you take HB. But in a vaccuum Grant every day.

Eh. If HB is a 75, Grant is a 79. Is that worth another 14 mil/season??

He hasn't impacted winning since he adjusted his role into being a lead offensive option 3 years ago. Doesn't rebound, no playmaking, his defense has taken a real hit the last few years. This is absolutely the worst contract in the NBA, not even close.
