Buyout Candidates (Link): 2025 NBA buyout season: Who are the candidates?
Could be, but so what? Personally, I don't give a damn what the Thunder, Grizzlies or Rockets' records are in February. Not a single one of those teams has a guy who has actually gotten the job done when the money was on the line. They have to prove it, to me. So if ESPN wants to carry water for the legacy franchises and act like the teams in the lead are not an actual threat to contend, who cares? I thought that fans got off on all that "Nobody believed in us!" stuff, anyway. This is Laker and GSW ballwashing I guess.

How many times has he gotten traded since leaving the Kings. So ironic that his dad thought we were holding him back
Memphis got MBIII!
Lol I misread this to say his dad thought we were bringing him back. How many times has he gotten traded since leaving the Kings. So ironic that his dad thought we were holding him back
Oh wow. Sounds like a bit of a knucklehead but he better get it together in LA
How the hell’d he do that? Accidentally fly to Los Angeles, Chile?Usually when they fail a physical they say it so there’s a chance he just didn’t report?
Didn’t we have at least one player do it to us? Jet? Just say “nah” and not show up? Granted I’d think most players happy to leave Charlotte for LA. Worked out well for Monk. How the hell’d he do that? Accidentally fly to Los Angeles, Chile?
So Charlotte is contesting the rescinded trade. Even more awkward for Williams
Sounds like the Lakers were aware of back and feet issues but the physical turned up even worse. This trade may have tanked what’s left of his career.
