Honestly - Dame to the Sixers, Beard to the Rockets, young players and picks to the Blazers would be the way to go. It's a kick in the teeth for a Houston team that wanted to sign Harden outright, but it makes the most sense for everyone.
sixes window is probably 2 years. The only reason Harden opts in is to not leave the sixers with nothing. They can’t get Norman Powell back for the Beard.
I mean, I really don't understand the process declining his TO now. If they played out his cheap TO next season, doesn't he have full bird rights and RFA status anyway? Why open yourself up to a cap team blasting a huge deal at him?
