And if he's not, well, this is going to be really bad for Josh Hart on a mental level.
I mean he was flat out better than everyone else in this class. And just the nature of FA, you're going to overpay for literally every single guy who isn't a max contract player. So if you're going to invest, may as well slightly overpay for a dude who's actually super impactful towards winning.

Also just seems this range is where a top 75-ish player gets paid now. Huerter/HB/Hart/Brooks/Cam Johnson etc. All in that 17-22 mil/season range.

It's NY, so if they don't step it up we know who is going to get the blame fair or otherwise. Now we'll see if the Knicks are legit or not.

I wonder what's wrong in Philly.... no one seems happy there.... everyone wants out..... you've got to wonder if it's an Joel Embiid issue....

Morrey's stalemate with Harden is going to torpedo the 76ers season before it even begins, like Ben Simmons did a couple of years ago.... Morrey is going down with this mess......

Hall of Famer
I guess the real question is, is he going to get fat while he holds out this time too?

I think Philly wanna be genius GM Prince Daryl Morey met his match this time. An engaged Harden last year is worth 3x a fat uninterested Harden this year.

Sorry Morey.
this is pure speculation on my end but he seems a type that will intentionally let his weight get out of control to prove a point

Makes me appreciate Fox and Domas so damn much. Been nothing but incredible stewards for Sacramento and leaders for the franchise.

That's something Monte and Brown should be commended for BTW. It's no easy to just have full and total buy in from your franchise pillars. Especially Fox, who had every reason to ask out of Sac
