Washington is actually pretty deep at point guard right now. Tyus, Monte Morris, and Delon Wright are already on the roster and they’re in position to draft Anthony Black tonight at the draft.Maybe like Washington

That's a straight salary dump... wow. I actually like Poole and I think he'll have a resurgence in Washington. imagine him getting the green light.. might not result in a lot of wins, but it'd be fun.Shams says this year’s Warriors pick isn’t included. (Plus they technically can’t trade this year’s pick yet thanks to them not having their pick next year)
They might have been scared that he might go somewhere else.Jesus Christ. They couldn’t have just waited to bring in cP3 once the Wizards inevitably cut him?
That Poole/Tyus backcourt might be fun to watch. Now they just need to dump Monte Morris and Delon. That's a straight salary dump... wow. I actually like Poole and I think he'll have a resurgence in Washington. imagine him getting the green light.. might not result in a lot of wins, but it'd be fun.
The issue here is that they just traded some of their future picks to execute said salary dump. They might have been scared that he might go somewhere else.
It also allows them to get out of Poole's salary for 3 years. They might seriously be looking at life beyond the Curry era. Their recent picks have mostly been duds, Draymond has opted out, and there is a chance he might not be back (trading away Poole might help him return). Klay played well, but he too will see his production go down over the years.
Poole is being paid almost Fox level money. Will make a restart easier.
Yeah. Just saw the full details of the trade. Sorry, jumped the gun based on the initial post. The issue here is that they just traded some of their future picks to execute said salary dump.
We'll just wear full-gear on those game days.
....I'd easily give up Keegan for Franz
Never mind, it was the Wizards!
....I'd easily give up Keegan for Franz
I really like Franz but given how this roster is built, Keegan’s offball gravity is far more important to us than Franz’s skillsetI think that's a 1 step foward 1 step back kind of idea. No real reason to do something like that.
Can they add Schroeder to compete the trifecta?
