Maybe it IS time to deal Boogie.

Cousins/Koufos/Papagiannis
Cauley-Stein
Gay/Casspi/Butler
McLemore/Richardson
Collison

And whoever they can get in free agency isn't a likely a winning team.
As if the #8 pick in a mediocre draft was the key to us having a winning team?

That was really never the key. People overrate the draft tremendously for developed teams. You can get lucky, but you can't count on it to fill specific holes consistently.

I'm willing to eat crow on this Papa pick though especially with success of recent Euro bigs in the NBA drafted over the last 5 years.
He's quite agile though even with his size and he's not fat or super thin.
If he can earn 10 mins in the rotation on his rookie year, this is a good pick, in relative comparison to Stauskas or Ben.

But that's big IF.
Still surprised. But I'm starting to pity the vase I was about to throw 30 mins ago.

The Kings aren't a developed team. They are a 33 win team with a disgruntled all-star, a high usage, low value 2nd scorer with their starting PG a free agent and their backup charged with domestic violence.

There are maybe 2 or 3 teams that have a dimmer near & long term future than the Kings.
