IMO, if we are able to attract a player that can really make a diffrence, it will be through a trade. I just don't see us attracting a big name FA. But, I think there are a few guys we could sign that could definately help us, and wouldn't cost too much. The guys I would be nterested in are...

Ronnie Brewer-if we decide to trade Kevin, and don't get a sg in return, I would love to go after him. maybe go after him, an then move Kevin. But a backcourt of Tyreke/Brewer would be scary defensively, and Ronnie can hit the open jumper.

Fesenko- I have wanted this guy for a while, and I think we can get him pretty cheaply. Not a huge difference maker, but could help off the bench. Has talent, is physical, and a pretty decent finisher, as well as more athletic than he appears.

Josh Powell- Again, not a real difference maker, but as a cheap 3rd big, could help. Can rebound, is physical, and has a decent jumper. Reminds me of Haslem.

Louis Amundson-High energy guy off the bench, can rebound and block shots. This guy never stops playing hard, and unlike most guys in Phoenix, I don't think he's a product of the system. Limited offensively though.

Mbenga-Another possible big man that could help coming off the bench. A pretty decent shot blocker, and alters a lot of other shots, in his limited time on the court. I think he has potential to be a pretty consistent shotblocker/rebounder/physical presence off the bench, and wouldn't cost that much.

There are others that can help, but I'm thinking mostly about big men right now, although I think Ronnie Brewer would fit perfectly with the direction Westphal and Petrie are taking this team.

A name that jumps off the page for me is Louis Amundson. He's young, tough, and big (well, 6'9" playing Center, so not super big). Seems like he would fit right in on the Kings.

It would be nice to get Eddie House. He can hit the long range jumper and is great for the locker room. I like his energy and his skills. I also like the idea of Scola.... or David Lee if the Knicks don't re-sign him. At the beginning of the season I thought Joe Johnson would be perfect but he and Tyreke are similar players. Maybe they can work together and Joe Johnson can become the player he was back when he played for the Suns. Our own developing players, Lots of free agents, plus a lottery pick. This is gonna be fun.....
