2009 NBA Playoffs Thread

Well, it's that time again. 16 teams left and basketball craziness.

Here's to seeing the Jazz upset the Lakers!! :D

NBA first round matchups and season stats

I think the Blazers/Rocket series should be a fun, physical series. Also, the Hawks and Heat should be a fun one.

I gotta go with Cavs, Celtics, Magic and Heat in the East

and in the West..

Jazz ;), Nuggets, Spurs and Blazers.

If someone were so inclined, they could start a poll or March Madness-type setup on this as well.....

I didn't get my predictions in on time in the proper thread, so I'll just post them here. Only a quarter gone in one game so I don't have an advantage.

(2) Boston vs. (7) Chicago in 7
(3) Orlando vs. (6) Philadelphia in 5
(4) Atlantavs. (5) Miami in 6

West
(1) L.A. Lakers vs. (8) Utah in 5
(2) Denver vs. (7) New Orleans in 6
(3) San Antonio vs. (6) Dallas in 7
(4) Portland vs. (5) Houston in 6

All-star? He's playing like a superstar today. I knew he'd be good too, but not this good this soon.
It's only one game, but he's showing what he can do. I called him as a superstar before the draft. He's the one guy out of all the drafts I can remember clearly where, in my mind, he was going to be a star.

Yeah, I'm not calling him a superstar. But he's playing like one today.

Anyway....anybody know what happened to Deng? Haven't heard his name at all this season
