2004-2005 Season in Review

Plus:
-Emeka Okafor, Brent Barry, and other humble players
-Fishing, hunting, country, and Brad Miller, as opposed to clubbin', drugs, hip hop, and bling (note: I do enjoy selected hip hop)
-Emergence of international players such as Yao, Manu, and Dirk
-The effort of the Charlotte Bobcats
-The young but respectable Chicago Bulls
-The obvious consequences of Kobe's selfishness
-The proposal of an age limit (keep the kids in school; education makes people)
-The absence of Phil Jackson
-Coaches such as Scott Skiles, Mike Fratello, Rick Carlisle, and George Karl
-The career of Reggie Miller

Minus:
-Bullcrap effort by the USA Olympic team; lame excuses to avoid participation
-The NBA's reduction to just a part of hip hop culture
-Bandwagon buzz, like the buzz on the Suns, Dwayne Wade, Sonics, and Heat
-"Analysts" who have lips attached to players' behinds
-Bling bling and rims in the NBA
-Idiots who make unintelligent remarks, like KG and Jermaine O'Neal
-The Pistons getting no respect at all (playoff games relegated to NBA TV)
-Detroit fans
-Drugs
-Baron Davis, TMac, VC, Carmelo, Carlos Arroyo, and other players who only give 50% while taking millions of dollars
-Ron Artest taking time off to record a rap album
-High schoolers who would rather play like Hot Sauce than John Stockton
-Selfish players like Gilbert Arenas getting hype
-Kobe Bryant
-LA radio honks breaking down the drama
-ABC, ESPN, and TNT's poor scheduling and converage
-The NBA's greed
-Lack of fundamentals
-The departure of Reggie Miller

I honestly believe T-Mac is not giving 50%. Sorry, you are entitled to your opinion and all, but isnt asking your coach to let you guard Dirk in the playoffs at Dallas (and hitting a game winning shot) effort!?!?

right now he's giving it his all, but he admitted he was pulling a Nomar in Orlando
