Also contrary to certain members views tonight, Maxime was like the one bright spot in the game today. Kid has to get stronger for sure but there’s a lot to work with there and he’s got nice feel for the game on both ends of the court. (Also he was our leading rebounder)

It's amazing when a young player doesn't get a quick chain. It's almost like they kind of settle in and stop forcing things or break through the rough spots huh?

Reynaud needs to hit the weights hard

If he develops his body over the next few years he’s gonna be a good player

I've been impressed with Maxime so far. Hopefully he continues to get minutes once Sabonis comes back.

Haven’t read this games thread so apologies if my thoughts are redundant.
1-why is Keon coming in in the fourth quarter? I don’t get it
2-Really like how Eubanks has stepped up. Plays better than expected…not that it’s enough.
3-Russell Westbrook is still a great player. I think he will really help Keegan’s intensity and sense of urgency when he returns from his injury. I sense the teams defense is improving overall in no small part due to Russ’s presence.
4-Nique looks lost. Defense seems good but he’s tossing up alot of bricks
5-I like that Max is getting some experience. Lots of promise. Especially rebounding.
6-Precious looks a little lost right now. Will give him a couple weeks to see what he can do.
7- Really liked the Kings defense in the first half. Just have to play that way for the whole game.
8-Lavine makes too many stupid mistakes.
9-Katie drives me nuts.

Herr Schoder ist schecklick......0-10 -- $13mm starter got abused along with half the team. Christina is so unimaginative in his lineups....Kings need somebody else who's willing to mix up lineups. Precious a dud and Raynard a weakling No Ellis, Carter, or Cardwell.....what a candya$$ yes man Christina is.....

Personally, I think it's great and should be part of the regular season as well to determine seeding. Would eliminate the stupidity of those "not running up the score" fights

Maybe later on, not at the start of a tournament. Personally, you'll have teams running up the score on weak teams and totally skewing things anyway. Not all seeding is equal so it could create huge advantages.

Russ busting his ass all game also only makes it look worse when Lavine is sorta just 60%ing it out there. If the guy’s back still hurts, he needs to sit out until he’s healthy.
As someone else mentioned a few posts ago, even more so when half the roster are guards

Not expecting to win this game, but I just can’t get onboard with the Russ/Schroder lineup. Ignoring all of the nonsense with this roster, it seems pretty clear Russ should be our starting PG. I don’t care that Dennis was Perry’s “big” free agent signing, he’s just not the caliber of a player that needs to be promised anything regarding a starting spot. Fine whatever we can’t say no to egos like Debo or Zach, I get it. But we are talking Dennis Schroder here. We are already starting two other guards so you go bigger in the front court or you start either Ellis or Clifford alongside Russ. Why are we trying to make things so hard?

Me too. Seems like he’s not yet totally used to nba physicality on the low block, but I really love his energy. He seems like he needs to let things slow down a little, but he’s clearly not afraid out there. He’s not always making 100%the right play on defense but feels like he will ‘get it’ with time.

Unbelievably bad coaching. I've seen some bad coaches with the Kings, but Christie is taking it to new depths. It is unfathomable why he doesn't play Keon Ellis more, and consistently more. Christie is going to ruin him. He is jerking Keon around like a 5-year old child does to a rag doll. I don't know how Keon has been playing as well as he has when Christie has allowed him to enter the game. I can't know what is in Keon's mind, but Christie is doing everything in his power to suck whatever confidence he has completely out of him.

And now I'm starting to get concerned about how Christie is coaching Clifford. Christie is taking probably the best ball handler he has on the team and relegating him to stand in the fricken corner! With only 3.5 minutes left in the game he finally allows Clifford to handle the ball. What the hell is going on?! A telling moment in the game was when Clifford finally gets the ball he imitates what other vets do on this team - do a jig at the 3 point line while covered and hoist it up. He got it blocked and then Christie took him out. The kid is only modeling what Christie allows his vets to do. He doesn't understand that in Christie's little brain there are two sets of rules - one's for the rookies and one for the vets.

Last but not least, Max. Yes, I was glad he got minutes. But does Christie understand that Max is not Cardwell? He uses him exactly the same. Rather than coaching to utilizes Max's strengths as a player - passing and outside shooting - he has him do screen and rolls the whole game. Is this the way Christie is going to develop his young players - continually not have them do what they are good at?

Well put, Christie is a moronic coach. Not long in the coaching sphere left...... Its quite evident as already pointed out - the yes-man is playing money over potential. Ellis, Carter, and Cardwell all deserve alot more mintues, especially Ellis. Christie should be tinkering with chemistry and player combinations, but he's a dufas, unable or uninterested in experimenting.

Ya I dont get the Maxime hate. A 2nd round pick who was cast as a horrible defender. So far I've been impressed. He's a big body, and I think 2-3 years of seasoning he will end up being a nice big off the bench.

Kings fans after the Warriors game: Why aren’t the Kings losing?!

Kings fans tonight: why aren’t the Kings losing in the manner I want them to lose?!
Can we lose while at least playing a lineup that makes sense? I just want to see Keon-Nique share the floor during meaningful minutes. And NEVER 4 of Monk, Schroder, Westbrook, LaVine, Derozan together.. I mean 3 of them at a time is already a disaster but 4 is a fireable offense.

Replace Schroeder with Keon or Carter or Nique or Monk and we had a much better chance in this game.
Teams are spreading the floor and driving past him. At one time in his career he was really good defensively but those days are long gone. He shot us out of the game and OKC just extended the lead. I can buy the Westbrook signing reasoning. I can’t buy the occasional good game from Schroeder that we are getting for that contract.

And I agree with the criticism on Christie. I’ve said it before, he’s going to ruin the young guys.
