Lavine, as talented as he is offensively, is difficult to believe in as a winner, because he puts little effort into anything else. He will never be the highest paid player on a team that is a threat to advance, let alone a contender
He may not be the best defender.

Hes absolutely a shot creator and creates open shots for other players.

He is not selfish

Hes not a superstar no, but hes def a allstar caliber player who actually wants to be here.
Again he wanted to be here. How about showing some love

I need to see effort and fight on both sides of the floor. Great athletes not caring about defense, doesn't inspire anything

Omg lol then enjoy it. How about that

Sure and on the flipside don't feel the need to defend from criticism either. Hey, I enjoyed seeing Vince Carter get his swansong but I know what that added in the end too. Enjoy the moments but being critical of position if someone is in this case is largely based on history at this point. In a month or two we'll know what's up. Winning, mediocrity, or development.

Playing for 3 of the worst franchises in the league for the last 20 years
That not a winner argument is so lazy to me.

Like what does that even mean?

Basketball is a team game. Is myles Garrett not a winner becsuse browns suck? Crosby not a winner?

Zack had competed in every teams played on. Hes a top 10 scorer in the league period.

Hes not the problem. People always talk about is salary as if they are paying him. His paycheck did not stop us from signing anyone we wanted to sign.

Again our team is deep. It may not be balanced, but its def talented

That fade at the end of the quarter really puts pressure on the Kings. Even with Keon in place of Russell, their defense sagged noticeably. I hope to see more Devin Carter in the second half.

We only pulled in 14 rebounds in the first half. I am sure Coach Christie is going to emphasize that at halftime. On the plus side, we had 20 assists on 29 buckets and only 5 turnovers.

Can we please just blow the whole thing up? All these vets are wasting whatever good years they have left here an we have nothing to look forward to. Even the spurs pick is looking worse every day.

There are definitely guys that are higher impact players obviously but I think he could win with the right team and role. Hes just not one of the rare breed of players that win despite their environment

Yeah, it is talented and deep. I don't think anyone would even argue that. You can even see a semblance of rotations shining through. Like DeMar running the bench unit. People have wanted him to do that since he got here pretty much and he's done a really good job as the go to.

Im pretty sure people are arguing that.

I get small complaints but this is constant. Literally you would think we was down 50.

Its getting ridiculous in here

OK well, you disagree then. I do as well. Most of the complaints I've seen have to do with the future and direction for the most part and the repetitive nature of this franchise to do exactly what they've done this offseason to put themselves in a tiny window of opportunity that when done years prior led to exactly where one would have thought.
