Domas tried to push through Smith and just didn't have it. No way is he 100%. Christie needs to either let him sit or manage his minutes better. Sitting for long stretches won't help.

There is a shadow world where we're all loving the Kings this season. That's what I'm upset about to the point of cynicism. Why aren't we watching Keon Ellis and Devin Carter play 36 minutes every night? We could actually be the team nobody wants to play against instead of only talking about being that team.

I said this earlier, especially with how LaVine/DDR/Monk have started the year. Those 3 with Domas as the offensive hubs surrounded by Keon/Carter/Nique/Keegan as the defense/shooting would give us a real chance at being competitive if you ran balanced lineups. Get 2-3 defenders on the floor at all times, stop worrying about egos and minutes and give the a team an actual chance at winning

I don't understand the focus on the players, honestly. Doug's putting these lineups out here that simply have no chance at success. His new "starting 5" has gotten trucked at every instance it's been in the game. We've had success when we balance out the lineup, getting lower USG/defenders on the floor and let the USG flow through the top 2 guys (Like the Monk/DDR lineup)

Well I guess the good news is if things continue this way we will likely see activity at the deadline that frees up minutes for the younger guys to see what we have moving forward. A higher draft pick and some more defensive minded players next season could renew interest for some folks
