That not a winner argument is so lazy to me.

Like what does that even mean?

Basketball is a team game. Is myles Garrett not a winner becsuse browns suck? Crosby not a winner?

Zack had competed in every teams played on. Hes a top 10 scorer in the league period.

Hes not the problem. People always talk about is salary as if they are paying him. His paycheck did not stop us from signing anyone we wanted to sign.

Again our team is deep. It may not be balanced, but its def talented

All of this is related. Why are we a team that takes double-digit leads but can't hold them? Why is LaVine frequently finding himself on teams that underperform? Why is Sabonis maybe the 3rd or 4th best center in the league and still seems to have less trade value than we would expect? The answer to all of these questions is the same.

Of course this team is talented but so is every other team in the league. Basketball is a game where the same players are tasked with playing both offense and defense. If LaVine was just a mediocre defender there would be an argument for him being our best player but he's far far worse than that to the point where I actually have to downgrade his offensive output. If you're going to take entire defensive plays off so you can sprint back for an easy basket at the change of possession than your unbelievable offensive "efficiency" requires qualification. And you're also not helping your team win so much as you're accumulating stats (and salary) in the most selfish way possible.

It goes without saying with a small ball lineup. The guy is playing at the Ford have to help with the rebounding as well as getting some of the guards involved. That seems to be the big problem with Zach and Demar in your front line. I get it we’re short a decent bag or two, but if we’re not gonna win games with the stars, we have we have to give more time to the young guys to develop. I have no clue if Jones are plowing have what it takes to play quality minutes in the NBA but will never know if they don’t get them.

One of which made the playoffs the year after trading him, and the second of which is currently tied for first in the conference... the year after trading

yeh I don’t buy those as examples of him not being a guy that could win with a good team. Plop him on the Nuggets instead of Cam Johnson and the entire narrative switches. He just can’t be the best player

Carter gets a stop at the rim first possession and then Keon gets a steal on Matas the next possession.

****ing wild man.

There is a shadow world where we're all loving the Kings this season. That's what I'm upset about to the point of cynicism. Why aren't we watching Keon Ellis and Devin Carter play 36 minutes every night? We could actually be the team nobody wants to play against instead of only talking about being that team.

It's purse strings - they dont wanna bench their high expenditures
