Hotter than fish grease
There's still another half to go.....Is that the Kings I'm watching!?
That's ok we remember Mitch "The Rock" Richmond fondly......"Mitch Richmond for the 3 .....<we with him, we with him>, here comes Bobby Hurrr-ley"If we ignore the 14 OReb allowed, damn near a perfect half.
Not going to continue to shoot this well, nor will PHX shoots this poorly, but overall damn damn good. Rebound the damn ball.
Impressive stints from Nique and Maxime. Not huge stat-stuffer halves, but made the "right" plays over and over again. Nique got beat a few times, but he's been the best defender on the Kings by a good margin.
Im to young to have watched Mitch, but I imagine this is pretty close. LaVine is an impressive offensive player and let's be honest; his defense has been excellent through preseason and this 1H. Like not just passable, but really effective and good
Last I checked the Jazz were cleaning the Clippers Clocks --- say that 5 times fastWhile that was a pretty impressive first half of basketball, I do want to remind everyone that Phoenix is expected to challenge Utah for worst team in the conference this season.
It's nice that the Kings are likely to open the season with a win, and they actually get to play Utah on Friday, so it'll probably be a 2-0 start. But it's pretty rough sledding after that, playing almost exclusively teams that are expected to be .500+ all the way until the week of Thanksgiving, when they see Phoenix and Utah once again.
