Making the Kings relevant again 2 trades:

They may like Casspi more than Greene, I can see that, but I would mortgage the farm that they prefer JT over Landry.

Making the Kings relevant again 2 trades:

It's easier to find a 3rd big in Free Agecy than it is a starting PG and Starting SF on reasonable contracts.

Making the Kings relevant again 2 trades:

Ummm yeah, Kenny did that, I can count on one hand his whole career. Carl's done that more this season than Kenny ever did.

Making the Kings relevant again 2 trades:

Trade 1: After completion of Melo to NJ Denver gets Harris and flips him to Sacramento for Omri Casspi and and an 8 million TPE. This gets the Nuggets well under the Lux tax, saves them a bunch of money and they get a high potential SF to replace Carmelo with. Trade 2: Donte Greene, Jason...

    Jordan looks ready to deal:

Because we need another sweet, stroking SF from deep n the prime of his career....er wait....yeah we're talking Gerald Wallace here right.....right, Wallace does nothing for the LONG TERM betterment of this franchise.

    Jordan looks ready to deal:

I'd prefer Tyrus Thomas to G-Wallace. If we could somehow land Augustin and Ty Thomas while retaining our core 5 of Evans, Cousisn, JT, Casspi and Whiteside then we just fleeced MJ.

    JJ Redick?

I question what team and what season you're watching this year...Kings have a shot at winning when they shoot a decent clip from downtown, they're .0000 when they don't.

Dalembert for Jason Richardson, what do you guys think?

Right, we'll see Orlando trade their starting caliber SG, for a 10-20 minute a night back-up Center.

    Kings/Nuggets/Nets- Possible Trade

Change Harris to Murphy and I think the Nuggets and Nets sign off on it. Denver needs to cut salary to get below the tax. The Nets will want Harris I would presume if they're adding Melo and Landry. Overall I think this is a well-constructed 3 way deal with those minor changes to give each...

    Trade Landry for...

Absolutely. That's a no-brainer for me. Here's why. 1) Brooks is an RFA so we can match ANY offer to retain him. 2) Jefferies contract is ~ 6.5 million. After a third of the season, you can wipe off about 2 million(1/3ish) off that contract, making what's left to owe him roughly 4-4.5 million...

    Trade Landry for...

Doesn't Landry for Jefferies + Brooks + 3 million cash just make too much sense for both teams? Rockets get what they need in the frontcourt, and get under the lux tax(saving them dollar for dollar on Jefferies deal and getting a pay out at the end of the year). Scola can slide to the 5 and...

    Trade Landry for...

What about Daly? He could make a lot of sense their in Houston. Help clean up their defense and give them a legit 5 on their roster.

So what is the problem with the Kings this year?

Health Lack of shooting Inexperience Instability Inconsistency Defensive rotations Stagnant Offense Slow getting into an offensive set Rebounding? HOW OH HOW has this even been an issue? Limited number of players with the ability to create their own shot/or for others(Tyreke, Beno are about it)...

Louisville Metro Council spending money to attract NBA team

I currently live in Louisville. I think this is a real threat, and my guess is the 'billionaire' owner would Mr. Papa John himself. Louisville would be the perfect home for an NBA franchise. They love sports, particularly basketball, have a brand new state-of-the are arena "Yum" center and the...

Kings and Celtics Kings deal: Garcia, Head and Landry Celtics deal: Big Baby, Bradley, Daniels and 2011 1st round pick Celtics get some needed upgrades in terms of depth at positions of need. Kings get Bradley going forward with a late 1st and move Garcia's deal for added cap space. Kings...

    Kings - Bobcats - Pistons

And to compare apples to apples, i.e. RETAINING Landry as a Free agent, would roughly start somewhere around 7 million dollars. Otherwise, by creating the void of Landry out, you have to say it's Beno for Augustin, Diaw and Henderson. You wouldn't trade Beno's 2 year deal for Diaw's 1 year deal...

Kings deal: Beno and Landry Kings receive: Augustin, Henderson and Diaw Pistons deal: Stuckey, Hamiton and Wilcox Pistons receive: Landry, Beno and Diop Bobcats trade: Augustin, Diaw, Diop, Henderson Bobcats receive: Stuckey, Hamilton and Wilcox Kings shed a year off of Beno's...
