    Board of Gov Meeting Updates

That option sucks. Keep the Kings. I want to grow with DMC and Tyreke over the next decade.

    Trade Thornton and Thompson?

Danny Granger is the only reaslistic possibility I could see for that package who might be remotely available. Otherwise stick with the status quo and keep on building.

    Prospect watch 2011

If we're 6, 7, or 8...I'd take the safe bet and add pieces to the puzzles. Aside from Irving or Williams, maybe Walker, there's no sure bet stars in this draft. However, there are a BUNCH of solid, long-tenured NBAers in this draft. Let's not diminish that. Guys that plays roles are important to...

Comcast & Universal might join to help fund an Arena?

Universal Arena has a much better ring to it than PBP does.

First Round Pick + Casspi for ............ ?

Granger and Iggy seem to be the same old rehashed players for this type of deal. I think we just keep the pick and take the BPA and look to move Casspi for a decent young 4th big man.

    Omri Casspi for Landry Fields

The value is on par, but like others have stated, the Knicks value Fields more than his on-court production would indicate.

    Response from Council member

Maybe KJ is being strategically a defeatist in order to give Anaheim the leverage in the negotiations, and thus making the deal less sweet towards the Maloofs in order to help keep the team in Sacramento another season....just a thought. Doubt it matters at this point.

    Johnny Flynn or Raymond Felton

It obviously depends on the pricetag. I don't really care for Felton. For Flynn, sure. Neither is a barn burner.

Rick Adelman is in the final year of his contract

Given another off-season to re-tool the roster, I respectfully disagree. Cousins is both a great shooter/passer at the 5. Evans is a good passer. Omri is a good shooter. Beno and Cisco are solid. JT's a decent shooter/passer at the 4. Give us a lotto pick, a trade or two and a signing or two and...

    Jerry Sloan

Sloan's done. He's gonna go into retirement. As he should.

Maybe don't move anyone before tradedateline is the best move for KINGS?

Granger or Iggy are probably the only two 'major' guys that could potentially get moved between now and the draft that would remotely interest the Kings, IMO.

Maybe don't move anyone before tradedateline is the best move for KINGS?

Landry will get around 6-8 million a year over the max # of years allowed under the new CBA. IMO, just slightly below what Paul Millsap got. Dalembert will probably get about 6-7 million a year on a 2-3 year deal for his services. I could see the Kings re-signing both honestly.

Your thoughts on trying to acquire andrew Bynum?

Not very good at all. He'd look more overpaid and trashy than he is. He would get a random double team and turn the ball over because he has poor footwork, is a sub-par passer and not nearly worth his contract for what he provides. He's the Lakers problem going forward. I wouldn't bail them out...

Your thoughts on trying to acquire andrew Bynum?

Just scanned a few posts in the thread. Has anyone mentioned the fact that Bynum is an overpaid, worthless piece of trash player? Com'n, the guy is HORRIBLE and vastly overrated by his bandwagoning fanbase.

    Carmello Anthony?

Agreed with this. We suck, not due to a lack of talent, rather due to a lack of experience. When the experience is on par with the talent, we'll begin to dominate the league.

    Carmello Anthony?

I don't like Melo because he's a poor defender and a Prima Donna. We can do better elsewhere, namely letting the pups grown.

    Prospect watch 2011

I do. I think when people label a draft as weak, they're trying to diminish the trade value of picks in order to obtain one. It's all manufactured. There are great players in every draft, even 2000(barely)

    Prospect watch 2011

Assuming the Landry for the PDX first is on the table. Here's an honest question. Would you rather have Kyrie Irving with our Lotto pick and Carl Landry OR take the Best PF(Sullinger or Jones) with that lottery pick and nab Fredette with the mid-round 1st from Portland. So 1)...

Kings looking to move Landry for 1st rounder & $3M cash?

It's called posturing. They're trying to get Landry on the cheap. It's that simple.

    Alexis Ajinca

I'm opposed. Ajinca will be out of the league at the end of his contract.
