Thank you Sunset Animal Hospital and Dr. Wolfe for staying late and treating our sweet old girl. It's not life-threatening, just really smelly and nasty until she got cleaned up. She was given an anti-biotic shot, so we just need to apply warm compresses 3 times a day to help it heal. There's a chance she might have hyperthyroidism, but we won't know until her blood work comes back.

I have at other jobs. Not a lot at this one. Frankly I like it that way. Frequently it feels like an obligation or is needed to get ahead.

But I'll invite some folks to a housewarming or get drinks once in a blue moon. Lunch once a week in the summertime. Or maybe give one of my extra Timbers tickets to a coworker.

That's about the extent of it.

When I was on active duty, everyone I hung out with was a co-worker. Since getting out, everyone I hang out with is an ex-co-worker. The only non-military friends I have IRL are the two guys I still talk to that I knew back in high school.

Esmeralda is doing much better - the abcess is almost fully healed, but it take a while for her fur to come back - right now she has a bald spot on her behind! Her blood work came back and she does have a hyperactive thyroid, so she's gets pilled twice a day. Luckily, my husband is pretty goof at getting the pill down her. Thanks for all the healing thoughts!

What's up guys? I wanted talk to you guys about my new Youtube channel. I'm looking to get started on Youtube. I plan on making comedy skits, doing vlogs, pranks, and talking about sports (Which should include a lot of Kings talk). "Please help me make a little girl's wish come true at the FREE Concerts in the Park!!!

Delyla is a 9 year old girl with brain cancer who wants to be a Pop Star. On Friday, June 28th we plan to make that wish a reality!! Make-A-Wish will surprise Delyla by picking her up at her home in Stockton and taking her to a radio station for an on-air interview before her big concert. She will then make her Pop Star debut in downtown Sacramento in front of thousands of people at Ceaser Chavez park at Concerts in the Park!

We are inviting YOU to be her “fans” at the ...show. We would love everyone to come to the concert with fan posters & homemade Delyla t-shirts to make her feel like the most famous pop-star ever!! Please plan to arrive by 5:00pm to enjoy the beginning of the concert & festivities. Delyla will arrive at 5:45pm in her limo, escorted by body guards to fend off the paparazzi (that's us). :) We would love to have fans waiting upon her arrival asking for her autograph, taking photos, etc. Please also invite all your friends & family to be a part of the audience to cheer her on. We want Delyla to feel like the biggest Pop Star there ever was!

Later in July, she will travel to Los Angeles to record a song or two, and get a Pop Star make-over, complete with photo shoot!

Son is with grandma in CA.
He is having surgery to reset a broken arm.
Dad is in Denver. (That's me.)
And that doesn't even include Kings drama.
Drinking has commenced. (Bourbon County Stout, if you must know.)

Sigh.
