Thats what I get for timing out, Survivor was my next pick. Anyhow, I select Dirty Jobs 2005-Present
Great premise, but my favorite part of the show is Mike Rowe. Dude is funny.
"Oh, just one more thing..." the one phrase you did not want to hear Peter Falk's character utter if you were a murderer who thought you'd pulled off the ultimate unsolvable crime. (Except if you were actor Robert Culp, who I swear was a serial killer on this series, he had to have gone up against Columbo 4 times lol).
If he told you that, he already had you busted and was just waiting for you to gak up some more evidence to nail you with. Sunday nights were never better in my childhood, and definitely got better when this show hit syndication.
Making the move from radio to television, Jack Webb brought a no nonsense crime fighter carrying badge 714 and the recognizable theme song to our consciousness. His partnering with Harry Morgan made my favorite detective sidekicks. The fast-talking repartee, brilliiant. The show added "just the facts ma'am" and "the names were changed to protect the innocent" to our lexicon. More good syndicated stuff from my childhood.
Dang it. Ms. Jerk. This is the only sitcom I regularly watch. If you like, I would like to challenge you for this show via a game of rock-paper-scissor-lizard-Spock.
I had to make a slight change in the order of my choices, since they seem to be disappearing quickly. I watched this cartoon religiously - probably one of the only cartoons where I never missed an episode.
How dare ye interrupt the season premiere of House? This show was absolutely great, even though it was short. If it comes back, I want the new stuff too. I am beginning to delve into personal taste territory now.
Veronica Mars (2004-2007) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0412253/
Didn't catch this show during its run, but borrowed it from some friends and was pleasantly surprised. Good luck finding a board friendly quote from this show. Deadwood 2004-2006

Kind of on my list, too. However, I never really watched the show, as there were elements in it that disturbed me too much to do so (the misogyny, specifically).
I was going to save this for one of the late rounds but with some of the more obscure shows being taken I am starting to worry. I really enjoy this show and the different point of view. In each episode, Penn and Teller debunk a chosen misconception, debate a controversial topic or expose the 'truths' of an organization.
For those that arent familar with the show, its a series of documentarys ran on MTV. Its interesting and quite addicting IMO and a nice change of pace with what I already have on the island. According to Wiki they have represented over 140 issues. Strong library of stuff here.
I've got my music, I've got my sitcoms. Time to grab something for the kids (and really for the whole family ). This whole show is hilarious, but the parents especially crack me up. With my 12th pick I select:
