Since my 90's songs are rapidly disappearing, I figured I better get one that I would not want to be without now. There are many others but I know someone else in this draft who really likes this song so I better get it now. Love you VF!

I was going to go with a B side Bush song to avoid picking off of last years lists, but this is just too good of a song to leave off my island.
I'm going to make an arbitrary ruling I didn't think would be necessary but here it is... FROM THIS POINT FORWARD, if you make a pick and it hits the board, that's your pick. No changing your mind once you've hit the "submit" button.

I hadn't thought about it until I saw he had the post then deleted it (super mod vision, you know). I figured it would be better to add the rule before it became a matter of contention, especially since no one else apparently saw it before it disappeared.
Well, I must say that this pick has changed about 15 times since my last pick, but ultimately I felt I needed to get back into the 70's and what better way to do it than with Stevie.
Sorry about the delay. Crunched for time and Internet is spotty but here's my pick: blister in the sun by the violent femmes (80s). Link and bid to come soon.
Edit: here's more...
Blister in the Sun - Violent Femmes (80s)
A mainstay of KWOD in the 90s, this song actually came out in the 80s. I was lucky to see the Femmes live at the Fillmore in San Francisco a few years ago. They still rock. You won't see many bands rock with an acoustic bass and a simple snare drum, but these guys managed to pull it off.
