For my last acting role, I'm going to grab a Jim Jarmusch favorite who recently had a nice turn in 24: Issach de Bankole. He'll be playing the role of Jaime.

Don't Make Me Use The Bat
and now for a little of the unexpected:

Well, Kylie Minogue tried out for the part, but unfortunately, this ain't a Bollywood movie. That being said, my next pick is:

Aishwarya Rai

The Queen of Bollywood!

One of Time's 100 Most Influential People
The world's most beautiful woman, according to Julia Roberts, and now, starring in Space Nuts!
Ah, with this and GGG's last pick I see we have now entered the out of ideas so let's just add a pretty girl portion of the draft. Which is officially approved of BTW. :p

The Nation proudly presents...

Patrick Dempsey

as Nathan Reshton

Most Notable
Can't Buy Me Love
Outbreak
Scream 3
Sweet Home Alabama
Freedom Writers
Enchanted
Made of Honor
Grey's Anatomy (TV)

And I think I'll round out the family with grandpa being senile:

[yt=Lloyd Bridges]FKDLZGATmk4[/yt]
Lloyd Bridges

Had a few different thoughts on who to cast in this role, but I could not think of anybody who could be more benevolent and chipper when cluelessly telling Drew that the family ate grandma for Thanksgiving a few years back.

hey guys i have a slight family emergency so I probably wont be able to post until sunday so if it gets back to me just skip me. i might be able to do it from my phone, but it isnt the most important thing at this stage

Okay got it -- I'll remember and if your normal 24 hours is/would spill over into Monday or later, we'll hold up so you can have a chance to post as normal. Otherwise we'll just skip you until you get back.

Hope everything is as ok as can be expected amongst the family.

Ranger needs an assistant, someone who will be there to help clean up the mess and get answers when time is of the essence. So, with that in mind - and because eye candy is just as important on the distaff side - Forest Dweller Productions is proud to announce that Vin Diesel has joined our cast as "Tank."

I won't be able to make my pick until like 9 or 10 tonight, so if the draft swings back around to me before then, just go ahead and skip me and PM Supes. I will check in tonight to see if I'm up or not. :)

John Wayne

Hawk Cahill (Former Army Captain) - This grizzled veteran of the Indian Wars is a true leader of men, but was ultimately dishonorably discharged for his drinking problem and questionable field tactics. He now makes his living as the commanding officer of a private army of mercenaries.

MBF Studios next announces....

Forest Whitaker - Supporting Actor

All of us at the studios and involved in the production of this film are absolutely giddy beyond belief that we have landed an actor with credits Mr. Whittaker has.

John Woo - Second Unit Director

Tarantino, the ultimate movie nerd, was psyched enough about the opportunity to pluck film legends from the timestream and play off their iconic histories. Now he gets the luxury of enlisting one of his greatest heroes and influences just for purposes of staging and shooting his gunfights.

ACK! I am sooooo sorry! I didn't realize I hadn't posted my pick.

We have a small but interesting role that only someone with a certain panache could deliver. Forest Dweller Productions is very happy to announce that the role of "undertaker" will be played by Peter Lorre.

Is this the most extremely huge draft of all time or what? you could burn hours just going over this thread!

For that I am grateful. This is crazy entertaining.

From one of my favorite movies:

[discussing the body count]
Dr. Einstein: You got twelve, they got twelve.
[angrily grabs Dr. Einstein's necktie]
Jonathan Brewster: I've got thirteen!
Dr. Einstein: No, Johnny, twelve - don't brag.
Jonathan Brewster: Thirteen! There's Mr. Spinalzo and the first one in London, two in Johannesburg, one in Sydney, one in Melbourne, two in San Francisco, one in Phoenix, Arizona...
Dr. Einstein: Phoenix?
Jonathan Brewster: The filling station...
Dr. Einstein: Filling station? Oh!
[slits throat]
Dr. Einstein: Yes.
Jonathan Brewster: Then three in Chicago and one in South Bend. That makes thirteen.
Dr. Einstein: You cannot count the one in South Bend. He died of pneumonia!
Jonathan Brewster: He wouldn't have died of pneumonia if I hadn't shot him!
Dr. Einstein: No, no, Johnny. You cannot count him. You got twelve, they got twelve. The old ladies is just as good as you are!

Don't Make Me Use The Bat
One advantage of working in comedy with only 1 1/2 competitors is that I should get my choice of directors...at which point I realize that there may not be a perfect director for a dark comedy about a family of cannibals with a cast drawn from at least three different great comic traditions. So I'm going to go with a duo who revels in the offensive and has the best chance to make Growing Up Cannibal this summer's comic blockbuster:

The Farrelly Brothers
