During one winter semester back in law school this song swept through the law library in the study-crush weeks before finals when everybody is there 10 hours a day, every day (or night), and nobody wants to be (pre-IPods, so personal CD players). Think for most it was about justifying the enormous time committment while living in the library. For me it was about justifying blowing the joint to go play some hoops or watch a movie, or maybe the scarfing down of the full boxes of Entmann's chocolate chip cookies and quarts of Wawa ice tea that kept me 100% sugar-powered through those long evenings.

As far as I can tell, this pick is fine. It is the opening and closing movement of Carmina Burana. It is one peice that he could certainly get on an IPOD. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Symphony No.5 consists of four movements, so you could pick one movement, but not the whole symphony. Unless, of course, you use four seperate picks. Clear enough?

You all are much more familiar with Muse than you think, the main riff from their song, "Supermassive Black Hole" played during almost every Kings broadcast. Normally when Grant would read off the starting line-ups of the Kings and their opponent but sometimes before going to commercial.

I don't like operatic music...I might even hate it. It reminds me of a music appreciation class I took in college that didn't work. Well, it worked in a way...it made me appreciate MY favorite genres of music even more. But I can't get enough of this one. It's a simple song, and one of the most beautiful pieces of music I can think of. Give it a listen if you're not familiar with it.
