Garcia needs to realize that his much more effective as a ball handler and distributer then a scorer. Not that he can't create his own shot but he's much better when he is setting up his teammates.

Heh. Yeah, you just gotta recognize a blurry figure. When the announcer calls out a name then it makes it easier to "tag" a guy.

My early impressions. Spencer Hawes with quick 10 pts very solid. Nice 22 foot swish from the left corner got a WOW out of me. Justin Williams looks like he can do anything he wants inside. Cisco Garcia is all over the place as usual and in this game a man among boys. Yi Jianlian for Team China looks a bit timid so far and I think has 4 fouls already.

Its hard to believe Team China has played together for a while and we only 2 weeks at best. if I had to bet i'd say they have 0 points in the paint against us and Garcia just feed Hawes for a dunk on sombody 7 ft tall probably YI he is crap. 45-22 kings at half

FYI - I just sent an email to MSE, demanding to know why these games aren't being shown at least on Comcast to encourage the loyal fans that there will be a reason to cheer next season. I'll let you know if I get a response...

Team China just looks exhausted. They're not even really trying out there. Williams and Hawes are looking good, I agree with people about Shakur, he made some things happen out there.

Still, the level of competition is pretty much non-existent.

Halftime. I love some of the music. Run DMC at the break.

Jusitn looks like he needs to be a King. Hawes looked good. Cisco picked up his scoring and rebounded well.

Okay, this is usually the point where someone - maybe Brick - would step in and remind you all that this is just summer league and that performances can be deceiving.

I, however, am not going to say that because seeing this thread, with people having a great time watching the kids, is music to my ears (well, eyes) even if I cannot watch the game myself.

It is if you copare how long they have been playing together to how long we have been playing together. Lets see this is the 1st game and maybe have only had 8 practices at best.

Comcast!!! Arrrgggghhhhhhh. Santa Cruz county is the only county in all of northern california not carrying NBA-TV nor the NBA league pass. So will have to squint at the web cast video. Not good. :(
