Got home from the Giants game. Man they looked good today. Soler is heating up. Love it that most of the damage was by younger guys. Villar, Matos, Fitzgerald, Heliot, Bivens looked great and Roupp was steady.

Im Going to hate them going back to Wilmer and Yaz and Luke Jackson and similar vets

Yeah, all of a sudden Chapman and Soler's recent surge has them looking like the above average bats we paid for in the off-season. Get Wade back healthy and those 3 with the young guys, we might have something brewing here.

Feels like we need to go get a starter, because our BP is being held together by scotch-tape at this point.

Of course we look awesome vs the Dodgers/Braves and now a great win vs CLE. Bivens was nails again, dude has been clutch trying to bridge some of these innings the last few weeks.

We got to find some real innings eaters though, outside of Webb and Hicks. BP being held together by ductape at this pont.

Think they just need to make it to the all star break.

I think everybody except Cobb is going to be making rehab starts next week. Harrison, Ray, and Snell. We should have a full 5 man rotation again by the beginning of the stretch run.

Need to get back on track.
Zaidi taking heat every time we go on a losing streak

Zaidi also saying he doesn’t think a deal has to be done to go get pieces. Thinks pieces are in place. The only thing he can say is that is that he’s got major pieces out. Snell just came back, Ray and Cobb working to get back, Jung Hoo Lee out all year is a big one. Lee should be in CF pushing Ramos to the corner. They need to figure out if they are going to commit to Luciano or not. If not, use him as trade bait to bring a SS in

Yeah, I think the Farhan bashing has been really dumb. 3 of their starters have been hurt all year or bad (Snell until his last start, really), JH Lee was their big off-season catch that got hurt right away, Harrison was hurt for a decent chunk of the year.

Absolutely don't want us to buy though. Either ride with this group, or sell and start over with a new GM. I really do like a lot of our young talent and think a lot of the pieces here can lead to a contender.
